MANILA, Philippines (Xinhua) – The Philippine stock market finished 0.93 percent higher today.

The bellwether Philippine Stock Exchange index added 39.42 points to 4,233.38, while the broader all-share index climbed by 0.56 percent or 14.96 points to 2,685.91.

Trading volume reached 2.04 billion shares worth P12.18 billion ($280.64 million).

Advancers led decliners, 88 to 50, while 39 shares did not move.

Local shares finish 0.66% higher

Manila, Philippines (Xinhua) – The Philippine market finished 0.66 percent higher on today.

The bellwether Philippine Stock Exchange index gained 27.50 points to 4,194.06. The broader all-share index was up by 0.42 percent or 11.17 points to 2,670.98.

Trading volume reached 888.04 million shares worth P5.44 billion($124.70 million).

Decliners beat advancers, 68 to 63, while 37 shares did not move.
